International Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR") announces that Mark Powell (P. Geol) has been appointed as a Director and Vice President Exploration and that Jihad Shibley (P. Eng) has also been appointed as a Director of the Company. The Company also announces that Brian Gore and Paul Wanklyn have agreed to resign as Director's of the Company to make room for the new management team.

The Company also announces today that subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval it has agreed to a private placement of 1,000,000 common shares at $0.12 per share with the new Director's. Proceeds of the placement will be applied to the Company's working capital.

International Frontier is a junior oil and gas Company exploring in the Central Mackenzie Valley area of the Northwest Territories. The Company holds an interest in four Exploration Licenses and 10 Freehold parcels covering 1.1 million gross acres.
