Stewart Lake
Stewart Lake is a gas discovery from the Little Bear Sands, which dates back to the Cretaceous period.
Like the SDL in Summit Creek, the Significant Discovery Licenses have Husky Oil Operations as the operator with Taqa North Ltd. holding 32.50% IFR holds an 8.2112% in crown lands and 25% in TDL M-38 which when combined see's IFR holding an average 16.50% in the Stewart Lake discovery area.
TDL M-38, measured at 10,368 acres, was discovered to be part of the Little Bear Sands, which means there is potential to tap in to a much larger play than could be expected at other sites.
