International Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR" TSX-V) today announced the Company has the right to acquire a fifty (50%) interest in two offshore United Kingdom Continental Shelf promote licenses awarded to Palace Exploration Company (United Kingdom) Limited on September 6th, 2005. Palace, as operator has been offered blocks 12/17 and 18/10 in the 23rd round of offshore licensing in the UK sector of the North Sea.

In a news release dated September 6th, 2005 the UK Government stated " A record 152 oil and gas production licenses are on offer to 99 companies under the 23rd Oil and Gas Licensing Round, the highest number since licensing began in 1964. The results, which indicate a vote of confidence in the future of oil and gas exploration in the UK, herald the entry of 24 new firms to the North Sea".
