International Frontier Initiates Phase Two of its Sidox Pilot Project and Clarifies Shareholder Letter Dated April 5, 2005

International Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR" TSX-V) today announced that phase two of the Company's oil production enhancement pilot project on the Alderson Lower Mannville M2M pool (100%) commenced on April 2, 2005. Phase one of the pilot project, which commenced in July 2004, resulted in oil rates being increased by an average 35% for a period of approximately 100 days. Phase two consists of a second application of the patented Sidox technology in wells 8-27, 11-27, 5-26 and 9-29-16-11 W4M. Sidox is a relative permeability modifier developed and successfully field tested in Russia. International Frontier, through a 100% wholly owned subsidiary Sidox Chemicals Canada Limited, holds the rights to a ten year Exclusive Canadian License for the Sidox technology.

The Company also wishes to clarify that the resource estimates provided in a letter to shareholders dated April 5, 2005 reflect potential un-risked gross resource estimates for the Flintstone, NWT exploration project area. The resource number is an internal IFR estimate that is not based on National Instrument 51 101.
