International Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR" -- TSX-V) today announced that the first well of a three well 2007 UK North Sea drilling program commenced drilling on March 24th, 2007. The well, Laurel Valley 14/28a-D, will evaluate three prospective reservoir targets identified on a 250 square kilometer 3D seismic survey. The operator, Oilexco North Sea Ltd. (45%), is drilling the well using the Transocean Sedco 712 rig.

Britcana Energy Ltd., a wholly owned UK subsidiary of IFR, holds a 10.45% carried interest in the 14/28a-D well and a 10.45% working interest in Seaward Production Licenses P1089 and P1295 covering blocks 14/28a, 14/29b & 14/23b.
