Northwest Territories Exploration well spuds

International Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR" TSX-V) announced today that the Husky et al Dahadinni B-20 new field wildcat well has commenced drilling operations on Exploration License 423 (EL-423").

The Dahadinni structure is in the foothills of the Mackenzie Mountains approximately 150 km south of Norman Wells and 60 kms south of the Company's Summit Creek B-44 discovery well which tested at a combined flow rate of 20 MMSCF/day gas with 6000 BBL/day liquid from two zones in the Devonian carbonates. The B-20 location was selected based on an integrated interpretation of proprietary 2D seismic, gravity, magnetics, surface mapping and Lidar topography. The geological setting of the Dahadinni structure is similar to that of the Summit Creek structure.

The B-20 well is targeting two primary targets and three secondary targets in the Devonian Formation and one target in the lower Silurian carbonates. The proposed total depth of the well is 2580 meters which, if no drilling or weather problems are encountered, should be reached in 35 to 45 days.

International Frontier holds a 15% interest in the Dahadinni B-20 well and in EL-423 and a 25% interest in a southerly adjoining license EL- 443. Participants in the B-20 well are Husky Oil Operations Limited (75%) and Pacific Rodera Energy Inc. (10%).

The Company also reported today that the 15/18a-12 well that is evaluating the Maria prospect in the UK North Sea is currently drilling and subject to weather conditions the well should reach total depth this week. Upon completion of drilling operations the Company will earn 8.2% in Block 15/18a.

International Frontier holds varying interests in 1.2 million gross acres in the Central Mackenzie Valley, NWT and 25% interest in 575,000 acres in the Colville Hills area NWT. In the UK sector of the North Sea the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Britcana Energy Ltd., holds an interest in seven North Sea Licences covering ten North Sea blocks.
