May 04, 2006 IFR Increases Interest in Northwest Territories Freehold AcreageInternational Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR" TSX-V) reports that the Company has increased its working interest from 10.867% to 16.111% in six land parcels covering an area of 68,670 acres located in the Central Mackenzie Valley, Northwest Territories. Four parcels covering an area of 47,570 acres are located in the Summit Creek area where the Company is participating in an ongoing exploration program. Two parcels covering 21,100 acres are located in the southern Colville Hills adjacent to an area where two recently drilled exploration wells have been drilled and cased. International Frontier has been designated operator of TDL Freehold parcels M-32, M-33, M-34, M-35 and M-39. The Company also reported today that an 8,000 square kilometer areo-gravity survey is currently being acquired on EL-429 and EL-432 located in the Colville Hills area, Northwest Territories. This data will be used to position a 2D seismic program for acquisition in 2007. The Company holds a 25% interest in EL-429 and EL-432.
