International Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR"-TSX-V) is pleased to announce that Dr. Gary Lyons and Mr. Laurie Smith have agreed to join the Board of Directors. Dr. Lyons holds an MD degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a PhD from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Lyons has been involved in the oil and gas industry for over thirty years. Mr. Smith is a Barrister and Solicitor and was appointed Queens Counsel in 2001; he holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Oxford, England and an LLB from the University of Ottawa, Ontario. Mr. Smith joined the Canadian National Energy Board in 1981 and has over 25 years experience in the energy sector. Mr. Smith is a senior partner at Bennett Jones LLP, Calgary Alberta.

The Company also announced that Jihad Shibley has resigned from the Board of Directors to pursue private business interests.

The Company will be issuing 350,000 stock options from its Stock Option Plan exercisable at $1.40 for a period of five years. The Director appointments and the issue of stock options are subject to regulatory approvals. The Company announces that its National Instrument 51-101 report has been filed and is available for review on Sedar.
