Jul 24, 2007 North Sea exploration well 41/10a-2 spuddedInternational Frontier Resources Corporation ("IFR" TSX-V) today announced that its wholly owned U.K. subsidiary Britcana Energy Ltd. is participating in drilling of the exploration well 41/10a-2 on the Lytham prospect located in block 41/10a, production license P1129, located in the southern North Sea sector of the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS). The 41/10a-2 is targeting Carboniferous Namurian sandstone and the Haupt and Platten dolomite reservoirs of Permian age. The structure is defined by 3D seismic and is a large four way dip closure interpreted to cover an area of approximately 7,000 acres. The operator, Lundin Petroleum, has contracted the Global Santa Fe Galaxy II jack-up rig to drill this prospect. Drilling is expected to take approximately one month. The Lytham prospect is the second prospect of three well North Sea exploration program that Britcana is participating in.
