International Frontier Resources Corporation ("Frontier" or the "Company" IFR-TSX-V) today reported that it has acquired 1,120 acres (100%) located in the Manyberries area of southeast Alberta. The lands are prospective for an oil accumulation in the Sawtooth and Sunburst channel sands. The prospect was identified with 2D seismic, to firm up drilling locations Frontier plans on obtaining partner(s) to participate in shooting a 3D seismic survey and in the drilling of the initial well.

In the Company's Glacier County, Montana prospect area Newfield Exploration (NFX-Z) reported on July 20, 2011 the following operating results for the Southern Alberta Basin "To date Newfield has drilled seven vertical wells and has completed and placed on production two horizontal wells. Fracture stimulation services are in the region executing on a program to stimulate and test multiple geologic horizons in up to four of the vertical wells. All of the wells to date have encountered oil. Newfield has approximately 320,000 net acres in the play, located in Glacier County, Montana." As previously reported Frontier has oil and gas leases issued to Newfield that are in close proximity to recent vertical and horizontal wells licensed by Newfield.

Scouting reports confirm that Rosetta Resources (ROSE-Q) are currently drilling a horizontal well and that Anschutz Exploration (private) are preparing a surface lease for the drilling of a horizontal well on the Pine Ridge prospect. Both wells are being drilled on the north end of the Blackfeet Reserve in Glacier County where Frontier holds a significant fee acreage position.
